After more than 30 years in politics, Turner has benefited from this system for decades, taking millions from corporate PACs, spending $140,000 on luxury travel and meals, and requesting $3.4 million in taxpayer dollars for an organization run by his donors, which also gave a no-bid contract to Turner’s then-wife. He even took money tied to one of Epstein’s biggest confidants – and then turned around and refused to hold them accountable.
- Turner has also been named one of the most corrupt members of Congress by a nonpartisan watchdog.
