WHY I’M RUNNING
Hardworking families in Ohio are being left behind by rising costs, making it harder for them to keep up and stay afloat.
As a nurse practitioner, I’ve seen the human cost of these failures: people delaying care, rationing medication, and suffering worse outcomes because they can’t afford care.
These problems didn’t happen by accident—they are the result of choices made in Washington. With honest leadership, we can fix them.
OUR PRIORITIES
Fix Washington, End Corruption
Washington is rigged for the wealthy and well-connected. Public service should not be a way to get rich. That’s why I’ll ban stock trading for members of Congress, end corporate PAC influence, pass term limits, protect voting rights, and shut down the revolving door that allows former members to cash in as lobbyists. We need to end elected officials enriching themselves while Ohio families struggle.
Make Life Affordable Again
Costs are too high—housing, childcare, groceries, and energy—and families are being forced to make impossible choices to get by. I’ll cut taxes for working families, repeal harmful tariffs that raise prices, build more affordable housing, cap childcare costs, support eldercare, and lower energy bills by making big corporations—not Ohio families—pay for data center infrastructure.
Healthcare That Puts People First
No one should have to choose between paying rent or their mortgage and seeing a doctor. I believe healthcare is a right, and I will work toward Universal Coverage so families don’t have to choose between keeping a roof over their heads and affording care.
I’ll protect Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, and the Affordable Care Act; support a public option to lower premiums and expand care; ban medical debt from wrecking people’s credit; invest in mental health care; and defend reproductive healthcare.
As a nurse practitioner, I’ve seen firsthand how lives improve when care is affordable and accessible. We must build public health infrastructure to make sure everyone has access to clean air, water, and resources that promote health.
Safer Communities
Every neighborhood deserves to feel safe, and that starts with making sure our first responders have the support and resources they need to do their jobs. I’ll invest in law enforcement, fire departments, and prevention strategies that strengthen safety while building trust in our communities.
I’ll fight for more resources for our local first responders who know their communities best and have the best-in-class training.
Serving Those Who Served
As an Air Force veteran, I know the sacrifices our service members and military families make—and I know we can do better by them. I’ll fight to fully fund and protect the VA, defend and grow Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, support military families, and make sure every veteran has access to the healthcare, jobs, and stability they were promised.
JOIN OUR TEAM
We can build healthier, more stable communities—where people can afford healthcare, housing, groceries, gas, childcare, and eldercare. That means cutting taxes for working families, lowering costs, standing up for small businesses, and making billionaires pay their fair share. It means strengthening workers’ rights and raising wages so people can actually get ahead.
It also means taking on the broken status quo in Washington—where Mike Turner has gotten rich in office, while Ohio families fall further behind—and replacing it with leadership that actually fights for us.
